“Well, that’s nice. It got closer than what we liked. Happy to get the side home at the end. Kapp’s superhuman dive and Capsey at the top helped us as well at the end. It helps as in Australia it’s difficult to bat up the order.,”Jess Jonassen said.

“But in domestic, I am the finisher, it’s my job, and nice to do it. The bowlers set it up and Capsey was at the top. Happy with the two points. There were nervous moments for us. Schutt was bowling well. So, it was nervy and we got the boundary early in the over and got us the win again. A great game and happy to be on the winning side.”

Delhi will be eagerly waiting for their reverse fixture against Mumbai Indians with the hopes of settling the score against the franchise. However, the team will have to wait for their chance as they first face Gujarat Giants Women in their coming fixture.
